We started our humble beginnings in Kaikohe in 1987 with a dedicated bunch of women who wanted to start up a Rape Crisis centre for the Mid North area.   So this year we celebrated 30 years of existence which included an Open Day, and Charity Auction and Dinner.  Due to the weather conditions we held to cancel our Family Fun Day which was to be held at the Kerikeri Domain.

We are a Charitable Trust, established in 1996 and located in Kerikeri.  We are affiliated to the National Collective of Rape Crisis and Related Groups Aotearoa (Nga Whatiki Whanau Ahuru Mowai O Aotearoa).  We are committed to and honour the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
